Allison Rietta is an abstract painter, working predominantly in watercolours and acrylics. Her paintings and collages explore mystic geometry, symbols and patterns, informed by 23+ years as a graphic designer, and her spiritual practice of meditation and sound.

Allison grew up in Toronto, Canada, and has lived and worked abroad in Germany, Italy, and the UK. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Toronto and in New York. Three of Allison's abstract watercolour paintings were featured in British Vogue’s ‘Vogue Gallery’ print issues March, April and May 2022. Most recently, she was longlisted for the Jackson’s Painting Prize, and won the Delphian Gallery Open Call, where her work was shown as part of a group exhibition at Unit 1 Gallery in London, England. Allison currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
