Celan Bouillet
Celan Bouillet is a mixed media painter and installation artist. Her upbringing in the American South influenced her love of spinning a good tale, textiles, and sublime landscapes. Bouillet received her BFA from the University of Georgia and completed her MFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Bouillet is a past recipient of the Vermont Studio Center Fellowship, a two time recipient of the Houston Artist Association Individual Artist Grant, and has work in public art collections across the US including at the Bush Intercontinental Airport and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She recently had the pleasure of completing two public art projects in BC for the Vancouver Mural Festival and the Richmond Animal
Shelter. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, such as ArtMaze Mag, Create Magazine, Houstonia Magazine, and Houston Chronicle.
