Lori Ryerson
Lori Ryerson is a Toronto-based Canadian artist, who refers to herself as an opportunistic photographer. She is especially fond of travel and nature photography. Most of her compositions take place outside, involving natural structures, water or plant life. She is always on the lookout for what she calls “mystery in the mundane”; commonplace objects or locations where she can employ techniques to create new perspectives and different views. Her works are usually the result of chance meanders, rather than planned outcomes. Recently, Lori has been increasing her exploration of abstract interpretations of nature, employing techniques such as intentional camera movement and multiple exposures.
